Who owns the data we store in your service? Will you use our data to build advertising products?
As a customer of Kylie.ai, you own and control 100% of your data. We do not use your data for anything other than providing you with the service to which you have subscribed. As a service provider, we do not scan your data or documents for advertising purposes.
Do you offer privacy controls in your service?
We commit to a number of privacy and security measures located in Kylie’s management dashboard. These measures are available to all manager level users of Kylie.
Where is our data stored?
All of your data are stored on Kylie.ai servers in a secure database instance. Kylie.ai servers are currently hosted in multiple Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers in their US West Region. This is done to prevent failover and to ensure up-time while maintaining strict security measures.
Is our data encrypted?
Yes, all of your data is encrypted at the REST level and when traversing over public networks.
How do you ensure that your service is reliable?
We apply best practices in design and operations, such as redundancy, resiliency, distributed services, and monitoring—to name a few. For more information and to subscribe to service alerts, please visit our System Status page.
Is our data backed up? Are there disaster recovery tools in place?
All data you store in Kylie.ai is fully backed up with tested and certified disaster recovery processes in place. The backup of data and disaster recovery is handled by Kylie.ai. Our current RTO and RPO times are within 24 hours. These backups are protected by the same security protocols that protect data transferred over public networks.
What are your commitments regarding keeping my service up?
We provide a promise of over 99% uptime as ensured by AWS.
What steps do you take to ensure our data is protected?
By adhering to AWS principles as well as additional steps taken at the Kylie level, we ensure that not only are your data protected, they stay protected even while traveling over public networks.
Who can access my data?
We take great caution when it comes to both security and privacy. Employees at Kylie do NOT have the ability to view raw, private data from any of our customers without your consent. You and you alone have full access to any data stored on Kylie’s end.
Are there any inherent security benefits that come with Kylie?
In addition to the industry standard security practices that we employ, Our AI models themselves form a barrier around your data. By storing and protecting these models, it adds inherent layers of security that do not exist in many other AI companies.
